Chain O' Lakes-King Waupaca, Wisconsin (4k drone footage)

Are these the ‘best lakes in Wisconsin?’ Iam not sure, but they are in the running. Check out this flyover during summer!

The Waupaca Chain O'Lakes is made up of 22 inter-connected spring-fed lakes in the heart of central Wisconsin. A popular saying: "In all the world... no lakes like these." The water is similar to the hotsprings of Florida, in my opinion. Very unique and interesting water color. Here is a list with WDNR links to lake info of the lakes:

  • Taylor Lake is a 43 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 58 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout, Walleye and Sturgeon.

  • George Lake is a 5 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 30 feet. It has a maximum depth of 40 feet. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.

  • Sunset Lake is a 30 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 63 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.

  • Rainbow Lake is a 207 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 95 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.

  • Nessling Lake is a 9 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 55 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.

  • McCrossen Lake is a 31 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 75 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.

  • Round Lake is a 73 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 67 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout, Walleye and Sturgeon.

  • Limekiln Lake is a 30 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 46 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.

  • Columbia Lake is a 84 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 72 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.   • Dale & Miner Miner Lake is a 39 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 52 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout, Walleye and Sturgeon.

  • Long Lake is a 112 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 76 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is very clear.

  • Beasley , Bass & Young Beasley Lake is a 12 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 47 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye. The lake's water is moderately clear.

  • Bass Lake is a 3 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 8 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.

  • Youngs Lake is a 3 acre lake located in Waupaca County. It has a maximum depth of 15 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is low.
